Trekking is an ideal way to discover the Berber world by walking along the mountain trails and paths which had been created by locals in order to connect between villages and valleys.
Trekking provides you with the time to fully appreciate the spectacular landscapes, beauty and richness of the Berber heritage and culture, and to gain fully understanding of how the locals live and work.

DAY 1

Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech airport and drive to your hotel . Free time to explore the city .depending on your arrival time.

DAY 2

Marrakech – Ouirgan – Tizian
Early check out, and meet up with your mountain guide and coach, you will drive south east from Marrakech up to the High Atlas Mountains to Ouirgan village where you will meet your work team of muleteers and cook. And then start your hiking uphill throughout the oak and juniper forest toward our destination Tizian village. We spend the overnight in local guest house or in tents in FB.

DAY 3

Tizian – Azib N’Tamsoult
The second day hiking is about the same duration of walking of the first day but there’s more beautiful landscape to see like the traditional Berber villages and the massive mountains, and meet up with locals, taste their culture throughout having a cup of mint tea with them, and explore their deep style of life in the mountains. Then continue on uphill to reach the Berber nomadic village Azib N’tamsoult, and we will visit the waterfalls of Ighoulidn. we stay for the overnight in local guest house or in tents in FB.

DAY 4

Azib N’Tamsoult – Tizi Ouguelzim(3650m) – Neltner (3207m)
Today after breakfast we will start one of the hardest hiking days in the trip heading uphill through winding mule path to the top of the mountain pass Tizi Ouguelzim (3650m).we stop to admire the great view of Atlas mountain peaks including the highest summit of Toubkal (4167), the green valleys, and then we continue on our walk downhill towards the Neltner Refuge (3207) where we will stay for the overnight in FB.

DAY 5

Neltner – Toubkal – Aremd (2000m)
After early breakfast we will start our day climbing gradually up to the pass of Toubkal (4000m) from there we walk below the ridge up to the summit of Toubkal (4167m) the highest in North Africa, enjoy the spectacular view from the top. Stop for a snack, and then we walk downhill the same way to the Refuge for a nice and hot meal prepared by our Chef. Afterwards we walk down by the stream along the way to Aremd village (2000m), where we stay for the night in local guest house with a possibility to take Moroccan hot steam-bath before dinner.

DAY 6

Aremd – Tacheddirt (2300m)
Today we leave Aremd village heading to the Imenane Valley over Tizi n’Tamertert pass (2300m), and then into the Berber village of Tacheddirt. Stay for the night in local Berber guest house or in tents in (FB).

DAY 7

Tacheddirt – Oukaimden
Today continue on walking uphill through the winding mule path, until you reach the top of Tizi N’Addi pass at (2900m). Stop to rest and admire the view to Imenane valley, from the mountain pass, we will carry on walking all the way downhill to Oukaimeden. The Morocco’s premier Ski resort in winter. We stay in the Refugeor in tents in (FB).

DAY 8

Oukaimden – Marrakech
In the morning and after breakfast we drive down to Marrakech via Ourika Valley one of the most attractive valleys in High Atlas Mountains also known by it’s local arts of pottery. The afternoon is free for personal exploration of Marrakech, and then we meet up and go somewhere for tha last meal all together.

DAY 9

Departure
Today is the last of the trip, after breakfast pick up from the hotel to the airport for your departure according to the flight schedule.
